I am generally a quite laid back person but when it comes to wellness and comfort, that's when I am VERY particular. I thought I would share some of my absolute wellness must haves I put in my carry on bag. I typically pack a small carry on suitcase for overhead and bring a larger purse/tote with all my wellness goodies inside so they are easy to access!
1. Vaseline / Petroleum Jelly
This is great for chapped lips of course, BUT what I really bring it for is avoiding germs. Go to the bathroom before you board your flight and stick some vaseline up/around your nose. This totally helps keep away those germs you would be breathing in from the plane. I used to always get sick after flights before this trick, this has worked time and time again for me even on my long flight to Bali!
2. A little Something Calming
It's normal to get a little anxious on a flight, so I bring a small lavender essential oil roll on to sniff when needed to help calm any nerves. Just something small to ground you when you need it!
3. An Empty Water Bottle
Bring an empty water bottle to fill up after security so you don't have to buy an overpriced one and can stay hydrated on those super drying and dehydrating flights. I also like to throw in a packet of "Emergen-C" to make sure I'm doing all I can to build up my immune system while being exposed to so many germs!
4. Makeup Wipes
These come in handy to of course...take your makeup off or freshen up, but also to wipe down all the surfaces in your seat. Remember to wipe down your earphones & phone while you're at it too!
