DEALING WITH THE SUNDAY SCARIES

I think for a lot of us, Sundays tend to be the more anxious evening of the week. I know a lot of people have trouble sleeping on Sunday nights, and experience more anxiety or irritability. I am definitely one of those people. I now have a Sunday night ritual which I am obsessed with so I thought I would share.


SUNDAY NIGHT RITUAL


1. CLEAN & TIDY SPACE

Make sure the space you are in is clean and tidy. A tidy home is a tidy mind. Set the mood for the night. Have some candles going, create a sacred space for yourself.


2. PREPARE THE NIGHT BEFORE

A good Monday morning requires an even better Sunday night. Prepare everything you need to for the next morning. This can be laying out your clothes, having lunch pre made, showering the night before, and setting goals for the week ahead along with an action plan.


3. PAMPER

I love doing face-masks any day of the week, but find it especially necessary on Sundays. A nice hot shower or bath, a face mask or two, and some chill music.


4. WINDING DOWN

Winding down from the crazy weekend I'm sure you had is so essential for getting a good night sleep, especially on a Sunday! You have a full week ahead of you filled with dates, deadlines, people demanding your attention and energy. Put the phone away, get into some clean sheets, cute pjs, and a big glass of water, maybe some lavender spray on your pillow, and rest.
